Entry Background/Description:
The Plowman family learned about SAM in 2017 when their oldest son, Jack, was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma. Jack relapsed in 2021. Throughout their journey, the Plowman family has been actively involved with Smile-A-Mile participating in our Hospital Outreach Program, summer camp sessions, family events and holiday parties.
Jack shares, “The people at Smile-A-Mile love all of us. They love my whole family and support all of us in every way they can.” - Why You Should Vote for Me: This video is a perfect example of how Smile-A-Mile changes the lives of the families we have the honor to serve. A tremendous amount of time and thought went into finding a family representative of the various facets of our programming available to Smile-A-Mile families. Our hope by watching the video, others will see the vast array of programming we offer as well as the hope our organization provides.
