Entry Background/Description: Our volunteers are an important part of our camp community. We have only five employees so we heavily rely on the 250 volunteers that join us each year to create camp magic. We thank our volunteers with multiple hand written notes at the conclusion of each camp. We gift them with stickers, water bottles, drawstring bags, and tshirts when they arrive at camp. We host two annual events to thank them in person and celebrate the past year of camp successes.

The Garden Glow event invites our volunteers and their families to join us at the Missouri Botanical Gardens to walk through the light display. This is favorite St. Louis activity with a good size entry fee. Our volunteers love the opportunity to attend this event with their family for free. In the fall we host a "bond"-fire picnic inviting our volunteers and their families to join us at a local park for bbq, games, and swag from throughout the year as attendance prizes.
Why You Should Vote for Me: Our volunteers love the opportunity to spend time together outside of camp. These are well attended events that are relatively easy to pull together with a small staff.
